Hi, I’m Sara, a psychotherapist, based in Leeds. I am currently taking on clients for online work. I predominantly have availability on Tuesdays.

I have over a decade's experience supporting people with their mental health in multiple settings. I have worked as a therapist in Universities, sexual violence charities and within bereavement services.

You may be visiting my page as you are wondering about starting therapy yourself, or perhaps supporting someone close to you. It might be useful to know how I can help?

In my experience, therapy is a unique space to better understand yourself, or work through a challenge you’re finding difficult to manage alone. Having an opportunity to discuss your feelings and experiences in a confidential space, can help you make sense of life. Each week, dedicating time for yourself in a warm, empathic and non judgemental environment, can enable you to feel heard and understood. In time, this can help you feel confident about working towards a goal, or think about how you can tackle experiences in the future.

In our sessions I will have no expectations of you, the space will be dedicated to you, each week, to focus on what feels right. We may initially set some hopes for therapy, but this can evolve over time.

I appreciate choosing the right therapist can feel overwhelming, I have been there myself. If you would like to explore this further, please do get in touch for a free introductory conversation.
